Porsche Centre Chester is expanding

27/10/2016

The state-of-the-art Porsche Centre Chester has recently begun a six month re-development project that will make it one of the most innovative retailers for the German brand in the UK. The £1m development for the Centre demonstrates a major investment in the Porsche business and the local region, and will help the Centre continue to deliver the highest levels of customer satisfaction that have been established since it opened 11 years ago.

The extension at Porsche Centre Chester will feature two substantial showrooms, housing a wide range of Porsche vehicles from the latest models, including the Porsche 4 E-Hybrid, to classic Porsches, including early 911 models. In addition, a new dedicated MOT facility with an extra four ramps in the workshop and a vehicle handover bay will extend the Centre’s current aftersales offering. The spacious new showrooms will display even more items from the Porsche Driver’s Selection range of clothing and accessories and the Porsche Tequipment range of personalisation options, from floor mats to Aerokits, which can be fitted onsite.

Porsche Centre Chester offers the full range of Porsche services and the new investment will further enhance customers’ ownership experience. From new and Approved Pre-Owned car sales, servicing (including a local collection and delivery service), Genuine Porsche Parts, and a range of Porsche demonstrators, all customer requirements will be catered for.

“This is a very exciting time for everyone associated with Porsche Centre Chester and we are very proud of the new facilities and services we will be able to provide,” says Carl Hazelton, Centre Principal at Porsche Centre Chester. “With new and innovative models constantly being developed and a surge in interest for older and classic Porsche vehicles, we are confident the new offering will help continue the business’s growth.”

To sustain this growth, the Centre will be recruiting an additional seven employees across all areas of the business, including Sales, Service and the Administration, with the hope that many local people will undertake the new jobs.

The first phase of the new development will open in December, with completion of the full refurbishment due in February 2017. Business will continue as normal throughout the re-development with minimal disruption to all customers. Once the project is complete, there will be an official opening ceremony to offer everyone an opportunity to take a closer look at the substantial enhancements to Porsche Centre Chester.
