Last Friday, Porsche Centre Chester hosted a very exciting ‘all electric’ drive out for ten lucky visitors.
We collaborated with Leonard Curtis who are a local business, and between us we planned the perfect drive out for their clients utilising various models from the Taycan range.
Everyone arrived in the morning for teas, coffees and introductions, and then shortly after each driver and their guest were allocated one of our Taycans to utilise for the afternoon. On the day we had a good range of vehicles to use including a Turbo S, a Taycan 4S and two 2-wheel drive models. We also had the brand new Taycan 4S Cross Turismo – our very own Centre video review of this car can be found here.
The five Taycans drove in convoy from Porsche Centre Chester to the five star Palé Hall Hotel near Bala, Wales. Carl Hazelton, Centre Principal and Kat Griffiths, Marketing Manager followed the convoy in a Cayenne E-Hybrid. The drive took a little over an hour and fifteen minutes and contained a mix of breathtaking country views and windy rural roads.
After a warm welcome from the hotel team, guests were given time to explore the hotel before being served a delicious two course dinner in the hotel’s dining room. Palé Hall is a destination for quiet retreat, comfort and culinary indulgence, and as such made for the perfect drive out destination.

*Data determined in accordance with the Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure (WLTP) as required by law. You can find more information on WLTP at www.porsche.com/wltp . For Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) range and Equivalent All Electric Range (EAER) figures are determined with the battery fully charged, using a combination of both battery power and fuel.
Values are provided for comparison only. To the extent that fuel and energy consumption or CO₂ values are given as ranges, these do not relate to a single, individual car and do not constitute part of the offer. Optional features and accessories can change relevant vehicle parameters such as weight, rolling resistance and aerodynamics which may result in a change in fuel or energy consumption and CO₂ values. Vehicle loading, topography, weather and traffic conditions, as well as individual driving styles, can all affect the actual fuel consumption, energy consumption, electrical range, and CO₂ emissions of a car.
