On the 30 June, we were delighted to host our first event since 2019.
The annual Porsche golf day is an iconic event for us and one that many of our customers look forward to each year. This particular round was hosted at the beautiful Carden Park golf resort. The Porsche Centre Chester golf day is part of a national wider competition and this qualifying round was seeking out the top two players who would then go on to play at the Porsche National Final at The Belfry later in the year.
Carl Hazelton, Centre Principal and Kat Griffiths, Marketing Manager hosted the event together and welcomed over 40 customers on the day. It was a really special day for the team as events are something we always did regularly, and it had been over 18 months since we had seen some of our customers, who previously we would see often.
We welcomed guests into the Clubhouse in the morning where breakfast rolls were served alongside teas, coffees and plenty of catching up with everyone!
It was not long before guests began to tee off on Carden Park’s Cheshire Course which is a beautiful yet challenging course set at the back of the Carden Park estate, overlooking the Welsh hills.
In the afternoon, everyone was seated for an informal buffet and a prize presentation. Stewart Mcintyre and Tad Knebel came first and second place in the competition and now they look forward to attending the final with Carl from the Centre where they will compete on behalf of Porsche Centre Chester.
Janet McGowan was crowned third in the competition on the day, and we also congratulated customers who won ‘best team’ and ‘nearest the pin’. All of our winners were presented with lovely items from the Porsche Driver’s Selection.
We would like to thank all of the customers that joined us at Carden Park for our qualifying round, and thank you to Carden Park too for their superb facilities. For more information about our events please email Kat Griffiths . We look forward to the next round at The Belfry in October.

To the extent that fuel and energy consumption or CO₂ values are given as ranges, these do not relate to a single, individual car and do not constitute part of the offer. Optional features and accessories can change relevant vehicle parameters such as weight, rolling resistance and aerodynamics which may result in a change in fuel or energy consumption and CO₂ values. Vehicle loading, topography, weather and traffic conditions, as well as individual driving styles, can all affect the actual fuel consumption, energy consumption, electrical range, and CO₂ emissions of a car.
