Track event at Anglesey

Back by popular demand, Porsche Centre Chester planned another ‘Porsche-only’ track day at Anglesey ‘Trac Môn’ circuit this month.

What a day!

The track is situated in arguably one of the best locations in the UK due to being right on the coast. The drive there is rural and contains a mix of windy roads, and if driving there via the coastal A55, you could be greeted by some beautiful views of the Irish Sea along the way. The circuit itself has its own peninsula and overlooks the sea, and in the distance the Snowdonia mountain range is a sight to behold. On a clear day, the views are absolutely stunning, and fortunately, our track day was one of those days!

We booked the track exclusively for our customers to enjoy for the day.  There was a variety of Porsche vehicles being put to the test and these included a mix of 911s – including GT3 models.  There were also a number of Boxsters, Caymans and Panameras too – it was a great environment for any Porsche enthusiast!

There were approximately 35 cars in attendance on the day which made for a comfortable track experience as not everyone took their cars out at the same time.  Guests were able to experience a fairly quiet (and sometimes completely empty) track which meant that they could put their cars to the ultimate test!

We had members of the Centre team at Anglesey to meet and greet customers, and it was a genuine pleasure to be out mixing with customers again in such a relaxed environment talking about the subject we love the most…Porsche!

We had our 911 Carrera S cabriolet and a 718 Boxster available for track experiences.  Guests were able to experience these vehicles on track for 15 minute sessions accompanied by an ARDS instructor who gave them tuition if they needed it.  The experiences were a success and it was a great opportunity for some of our customers to try these models out for the first time, and in such an exhilarating environment.

As well as lots of driving, there was also a selection of merchandise available from the Porsche Driver’s Selection.  The team were dressed in items from the Motorsport Collection , and guests were able to browse through all of the latest items from the range.
