It all started in Liverpool. Mann Island Porsche stood proudly on the docks of Liverpool from 1989, and that is where our journey began. When it was time to expand our premises sixteen years later, in September 2005, we moved the cars and contents of the dealership to its new premises in just over two days and now here we are, our two showrooms side by side and we have been known as Porsche Centre Chester ever since.
The successes of the Centre have not only been achieved due to the fantastic brand that we have around us, but due to the team of passionate and enthusiastic individuals that work here.
What was once a team of around 30 employees has since more than doubled, and our team now consists of over 70 people across all of our departments. As our ‘Porsche family’ continues to grow to accommodate the increasing desire for Porsche, it is notable that we have members of the team still here since the ‘early days’.
The customer journey quite often begins at the reception desk and Nadine Cannon, Reception and Facilities Manager has been offering a warm welcome to our guests for 18 years. Nadine has enjoyed getting to know our customers personally over the years, and always goes above and beyond to create memorable experiences for each of our visitors.
Iain Joshua started his career as a Sales Executive with our Centre 21 years ago, and now leads the sales team as the General Sales Manager. Iain is a familiar face to many of our customers and has dealt with many of the same customers for many years. His experience is second to none, and his knowledge of the Porsche brand is unrivalled!
Our service department is a huge asset to our business, and we are fortunate to have two workshops here at Porsche Centre Chester. Carl Finnegan, one of our two Workshop Controllers has been at the Centre for 22 years, and started his journey as one of our Technicians. Our highly skilled Porsche Technicians go through regular Porsche training programmes so our customers can be sure their Porsche is being looked after by the most skilled and knowledgeable people in the industry.
Leigh James, Valeter joined the team in 2010 and is responsible for ensuring our customers’ vehicles are valeted to the highest of standards. Leigh and our valeting team are an integral part of our business as they keep all Porsche vehicles looking their best at all times.
The longevity of the staff at Porsche Centre Chester means that we are fortunate to have a team of people here with a genuine passion for the brand, and a wealth of Porsche knowledge under their belts. Carl Hazelton, Centre Principal started his career at Porsche Centre Chester in 2007 and comments, “The experience within the team sets Porsche Centre Chester apart from our competitors and it’s a real pleasure, not only to have worked with the staff for so long but also to know our customers so well too; we are more of a family to each other and our customers. It really is a special place to be!”
*Data determined in accordance with the Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure (WLTP) as required by law. You can find more information on WLTP at www.porsche.com/wltp . For Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) range and Equivalent All Electric Range (EAER) figures are determined with the battery fully charged, using a combination of both battery power and fuel.
Values are provided for comparison only. To the extent that fuel and energy consumption or CO₂ values are given as ranges, these do not relate to a single, individual car and do not constitute part of the offer. Optional features and accessories can change relevant vehicle parameters such as weight, rolling resistance and aerodynamics which may result in a change in fuel or energy consumption and CO₂ values. Vehicle loading, topography, weather and traffic conditions, as well as individual driving styles, can all affect the actual fuel consumption, energy consumption, electrical range, and CO₂ emissions of a car.
