Porsche track day at Anglesey

After the success of the last two exclusive Porsche Centre Chester track days at Trac Môn Anglesey circuit, we were back in June for our biggest event there yet!

The track is situated in arguably one of the best locations in the UK due to being right on the coast.  The drive there is rural and contains a mix of windy roads, and if driving there via the coastal A55, you could be greeted by some beautiful views of the Irish Sea along the way.  The circuit itself has its own peninsula and overlooks the Irish Sea, and in the distance the Snowdownian mountain range is a sight to behold.

We welcomed over 50 Porsches to the track which were driven by a mixture of Porsche Centre Chester customers and members of the Porsche Club.  Drivers were encouraged to bring a guest and enjoy the challenging circuit together for the whole day, along with a complimentary lunch organised by Porsche Centre Chester. 

We encouraged guests to pre-book a 15 minute session in one of our Porsche demonstrators where they would be given the opportunity to test drive a car on track whilst accompanied by a qualified race instructor.  This was an excellent addition to the day where guests were able to ‘learn the lines’ of the track all whilst truly getting to grips with the handling, performance and technology from our 911 Carrera 4S Cabriolet and 718 Cayman GTS.  

This year we brought along the Porsche hospitality unit which meant that we could offer our own coffee shop experience to all guests with complimentary teas, coffees and refreshments during the event.  It wouldn’t be a proper event without an impressive car display, and so our team brought along some additional vehicles for our guests to take a look around which included the 911 Carrera 4 GTS, Panamera 4S E-Hybrid Sport Turismo, Cayenne Coupé and the fully electric Porsche Taycan 4S.
