Return of the Carrera Cup at Oulton Park

On 11 and 12 June, the Porsche Carrera Cup GB returned to our home circuit of Oulton Park for the fifth and sixth rounds of the championship. The championship was a combination of close, thrilling racing and is an exciting addition to the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) race weekend.
The Carrera Cup is all about driver preparation and skill, because this championship is made up of identical 911 GT3 Cup cars.
Porsche Centre Chester is proud to sponsor Seb Morris in this championship. However, our congratulations go to Will Martin who finished in first place at Oulton Park.
The weekend was a busy one for the Porsche Centre Chester team as just like previous years, we were there with the Porsche hospitality unit which gives us the opportunity to offer guests complimentary refreshments whilst they were visiting us. We brought along some of our Porsche demonstrators which included a 911 Carrera 4S cabriolet, 718 Cayman GTS, Panamera 4 E-Hybrid, Taycan 4S and a Cayenne. We also had an impressive display of Porsche Lifestyle merchandise available for sale.
Carl Hazelton, Centre Principal hosted a total of 16 customers and guests from Porsche Centre Chester and they were treated to complimentary breakfast, lunch and refreshments in the Porsche hospitality centre, as well as experiencing behind the scenes access with a guided paddock tour.
The Porsche Carrera Cup championship is always a highlight on any Porsche motorsport enthusiast’s calendar and this year was no different. The combination of racing and hospitality provided our guests with the perfect weekend, and the team thoroughly enjoyed getting to know our customers outside of the dealership.
The Porsche Centre Chester team are back at Oulton Park on Saturday 9 July for the next round of the Porsche Club Championship, which Carl Hazelton our Centre Principal is competing in. We very much look forward to being back there as we will also be hosting over 100 customers on the day.
