Carl Hazelton, Centre Principal and driver of our Porsche Boxster race car is now over half way through the Porsche Club Championship season and his latest race on Saturday 9 July was at our home circuit, Oulton Park.
This round was an important one for Carl and the team as racing at home meant that we could invite along our customers and staff to enjoy the day and cheer Carl on.
In total we had over 150 customers and members of staff there to support Carl at Oulton Park. Our customers were treated to a VIP experience at this event which included exclusive access to our own hospitality area providing customers with a unique social space, as well as complimentary breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and refreshments throughout the day.
Guests were welcomed in the morning by Kat Griffiths and Connor Lidgett, the two hosts from Porsche Centre Chester. In the morning guests signed on in the designated Porsche Centre Chester hospitality area and were then given lanyards which set out the itinerary for the day ahead.
Carl finished his first race of the day in fifth place which we were all delighted with, particularly when the other drivers are so competitive. The second race was more of a challenge and Carl finished this in seventh place.
The event was a fantastic success and we had a lot of positive feedback from customers who had been delighted to attend an event like this. We look forward to planning the event again for 2023. To enquire about tickets for future events, please email Kat Griffiths.
